Playstation moving
Today I talked Nicole into splitting the Playstation move with me. I figured for the money spent on an eye toy camera for my Gran Turismo 5 simulator because if in fact the head tracking works as planned then it will be an amazing addition to the game. So we got it home and cracked it open. Setup was pretty simple and straight forward. Put the camera on the tv and plug it in sync the remote and get right to playing. I have to say that my first impression was very good. I played frisbee golf and the throwing is very natural. Not natural like the wii where its easy to play but it’s not right in some way but natural like actually throwing a frisbee. I think the major advantage that ps3 has is the eye tracks what you and the remote are doing instead of the remote trying to figure out what you’re doing and telling the console. Playing some other mini games that are included in the bundle I really like the controls and I think if I had to directly compare it to the wii I think that the hardware is much better but I think we will have to wait and see on the software support. Now let’s cross our fingers that the eye toy and GT5 facial tracking work properly!
