Thanks to Tom at Portflow I picked up my freshly built and ported cylinder head this week. It’s got a host of goodies and Tom did some port work to take advantage of the bigger valves. Upgrades include the full supertech package; dual race valve springs, valve guides, oversized 1mm intake valves and 2mm oversized exhaust valves, titanium retainers. With all the supertech goodies and the new port work I’m hoping this head will be good for big power and over 9k rpm redline! Still need to set valve lash and then install Tomei cam gears so I can degree the cams. More updates as the head is closer to being torqued down.
