•July 6, 2012 • 1 Comment

Started moving into the new shop today. Still need to organize everything and we don’t get into the offices until tomorrow but it’s got a lot of room! I’m pretty excited about the new place it will be amazing to have something that is my own.

Happy 4th of July!

•July 4, 2012 • 2 Comments

Happy 4th of July, I am sure most of our American readers are out celebrating right now. Nothing like blowing shit up and drinking to celebrate your freedom! I have been wanting to post some of the music that I grew up on and love to listen to and since today is about celebrating American Independance I thought it was appropriate to post some good ole redneck country for your listening enjoyment.

There are so many amazing classic country songs, when good music was just that good music. I think Trace Adkins says it best “Songs about me”. I’ll leave you with one more newer song but for anyone thats been looking for a job recently I hope you can relate.

Shop Tools: Dewalt 18v Impact Wrenches

•July 3, 2012 • 1 Comment

Got some more new shop tools today. Dewalt 18v impact wrench set. They were on sale and with the purchase of 1/2″ drive impact wrench you received a free 3/8″ drive wrench. The deal was too good to pass up and I needed a new impact wrench since my snap on one was destroyed by someone that will remain nameless.

More S13 Progress

•July 3, 2012 • 1 Comment

I’ve been making good progress on the S13 the last couple of days rear chassis wiring is all finished up as well as the front harness. Headlights all work just like stock up and down and pop up switch working as it should. The alarm is mostly installed now just waiting on some lock solenoids for the doors and need to wire in the remote starter. Just a couple more sub systems to add and the wiring will be completely finished up and I can move on to paint! Quick pic of the car while I was working on it, Amy lower and it wont fit in my parking spot.

Aero & Wheels Test Fit

•June 28, 2012 • 6 Comments

Figure I should post up pictures of the car with the full kit on since I already posted the pic of me driving the car to the trailer with no front bumper on moving day. Once I’m all setup in the new shop I will paint the car ASAP! Can’t wait to get it painted so I can start driving it.

Work S1R Test Fit

•June 23, 2012 • 1 Comment

Test fitting the wheels so I can fit the Koguchi over fenders. This is on a 265/35-18 rear tire I’ll probably go down to a 255 after I finish off these.

Project Ducati 748

•June 19, 2012 • 2 Comments

I picked up yet another project…. a 2002 Ducati 748. It’s a little rough right now but I have some free time coming up so I’m hoping to whip it into shape in no time! I’m planning on commuting on it to the new shop hopefully saving some money on gas down there and back. It’s been almost 8 years since I’ve owned a motorcycle and I miss my ’03 R1 terribly so I’m pretty excited to have something to ride around again.

Seriously Big Changes

•June 18, 2012 • 1 Comment

I have always found it a little cliché when someone mentions a chapter in their life coming to a close or a new one starting but I have to admit that lately I can relate to the sentiment. After 3 years at JIC-Magic USA I will be moving on to start my own business. I will be opening a shop in Ontario, CA specializing in Chassis Setup and Custom Fabrication. I am truly grateful for all I have learned and been able to accomplish at JIC but the time has come for me to prepare for my future and work for myself. The shop will be equipped to handle roll cages, partial tube chassis, custom suspension design such as knuckles and control arms, full chassis wiring, milspec conversion, custom exhaust, engine swaps and rebuilds. We can accomodate pretty much anything you would want done to a car. I will post more information when I find shop space and finalize all of the details. Stay tuned for information on our grand opening party after everything is setup and we are completely moved in. Until then, I will be doing work out of a friend’s shop in Ontario so if you need anything done please hit me up brogers@seriousbadass.com. Thanks for reading!

I’m just going to drop a bunch of pictures of past work to give everyone an idea of the kind of work that will be done at the new shop.
